How much down payment do I need?

In Canada the minimum is 5% on the first $500,000 and 10% on the portion above (up to $1M), with 20% typically needed above $1M. First-time buyers can also use the FHSA, RRSP Home Buyers' Plan, and rebates to build that down payment faster. We help you plan it.

Will I qualify for a mortgage?
